Vietnam Maze - Slot Game Engine

Three years into living in Australia, I couldn't shake one observation: pokies are just... everywhere. It's a massive, multi-billion dollar industry that seems completely unremarkable to everyone except newcomers.

Australia loses more per capita to gambling than any country on Earth, and the reason, I eventually figured out, is pure accessibility. That curiosity sent me down a rabbit hole - not just into reading about the mechanics, but into building one from scratch.

I teamed up with Claude to code Vietnam Maze, a full-featured pokies simulation. We built it with a real Return to Player (RTP) model, a shared progressive jackpot, free games, and bonus rounds. The goal wasn't just to make a game, but to build an unvarnished mathematical proof: a simulation designed to show you, in real-time, exactly why you will never beat the casino. It's the best way I know to truly understand a system - by building it from the inside out and watching the math do its work.
